On Rue Tatin – French Cooking Class in Paris

If you want to understand French food culture from the inside out, this is the experience to book. Susan has lived in France for over 30 years, written 14 cookbooks, and has an extraordinary ability to bring the French culinary scene to life in a way that feels completely natural and approachable. Her Paris cooking classes take place in her beautifully decorated apartment in the 15th arrondissement where you will cook together, eat together, and leave with recipes you can make at home. It’s one of the most memorable experiences I’ve had in Paris.

Secret Wine Door – French Wine & Cheese Pairing

For the price of a nice dinner, you get 6 wine tastings, 6 cheese pairings, and 2 hours with Erwan – one of the most knowledgeable & fun hosts I have encountered anywhere in Paris. The Secret Wine Door is a small, intimate tasting held in a cozy space in the 15th arrondissement, and the group is small enough that it feels like you’re spending an afternoon with friends! Whether you know a lot about French wine and cheese or nothing at all, you will leave with a deeper appreciation for both – and probably a bottle or two to take home. An absolute must for any trip to Paris.
