FAQ

I have yet to meet a French destination that I haven’t loved, but the ones that feel extra memorable include Paris, Saint-Émilion, Lyon, Colmar, and Menton.

If you’re traveling to France, I highly encourage you to spend at least two weeks exploring! This gives you plenty of time to see Paris, and see another region or two without rushing too much.

You could visit at anytime and there is something special going on. In the winter you have the Christmas markets in the Alsace region. In the summer there’s the French Riviera and the Bretagne coast. I am a big fan of off-season travel, so I usually encourage travel in the fall and winter months!

This is a common thought most people have, and I have to admit – it really depends. I would start by clarifying that it’s mostly Parisians who get the reputation for being rude, versus the entirety of France. And truthfully, some Parisians are rude – but most are incredibly kind! It’s just like anywhere else in the world so if you happen upon someone who is rude to you, try not to let it ruin your day.
